Poppy’s place is done….

You may remember that a few weeks ago I posted my work in progress of a little wall quilt I was making for our granddaughter with scraps left over from her bed quilt. Well, I eventually completed it using my very newly learned free motion quilting (FMQ) technique. To be honest I did the FMQ on this small quilt because I was too nervous of messing up the big project with my still very sketchy skills (or lack thereof)!
I now have no more excuses for putting it off – gulp!

If you want to give this course a try, visit Craftsy and try Big Techniques From Small Scraps.

  1. Lovely colors; great.

    • Good morning. Thank you, I am pleased with it because it is just made from scraps and some old duvet cover! It is great to recycle something into a new project. Take care. Michele
